Genesis M. is currently employed as a Planning Technician at the City of Pasadena since April 2024. Previously, Genesis worked as a Planning Intern for the City of Diamond Bar from August 2023 to April 2024 and served as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Irvine from June 2023 to September 2023. Additionally, Genesis gained experience as a Community Engagement Specialist (Temporary) with the Southern California Association of Governments in April and May 2023. Genesis holds a Master of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of California, Irvine, expected in June 2024, and possesses dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Latin American Studies and Public Policy from the University of California, Riverside, completed in June 2022. Furthermore, Genesis served as a Peer Educator at UC Riverside from September 2018 to September 2021.
