Matt Chang is a seasoned urban planning professional with extensive experience in municipal planning roles. Currently serving as a Senior Planner for the City of Pasadena since September 2024, Matt has previously held positions such as Planning Manager for the City of South Pasadena and Senior Planner for the City of San Gabriel. Earlier in the career, Matt was involved with the City of Thousand Oaks in various planning capacities, beginning as a Planning Technician and advancing to Associate Planner, and accumulated foundational experience as a Planning Intern with the City of Arcadia. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Policy, Management, and Urban Planning from USC Sol Price School of Public Policy, earned between 1998 and 2001.
