Vannia De La Cuba has extensive experience in public service and community engagement, currently serving as Deputy to Mayor Victor M. Gordo in Pasadena since June 2003. In this role, Vannia represents the city's 5th District, known for its socio-economic and ethnic diversity. Prior experience includes serving as a City Council Field Representative, where Vannia worked closely with constituents, community organizations, and government agencies. Vannia's earlier roles include Coordinator for the Los Angeles County Children's Planning Council, Program Coordinator for the Coalition for a Non-Violent City, and Program Assistant for the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles. Vannia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with an emphasis in Urban Planning from the University of Southern California.
