Flavio Rivera

Flavio Rivera has extensive experience in public service and finance, currently serving as Fiscal Officer at the Passaic County Board of Social Services since June 2021 and as City Councilman for the City of Paterson since July 2018. Additionally, Flavio Rivera has been Treasurer at the Community Charter School of Paterson since July 2007 and previously held the Treasurer and Coordinator for Federal & State Aid/Auditor roles at Passaic County from April 2007 to June 2021. Flavio Rivera also served as a Commissioner for the Paterson Board of Education from January 2015 to June 2018. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Ramapo College of New Jersey and a NJ CMFO in Government Finance from Rutgers Center for Government Services.
