Sikandar K.

Sikandar K. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in economic development, political engagement, and community service. Since March 2020, Sikandar has served as a Senior Economic Development Representative for the City of Paterson, while also leading the New Jersey State Democratic Party Muslim Caucus as Chairman since September 2019, focusing on increasing Muslim American participation in political processes. As the Founder and Director of Global Emergency Response and Assistance (GERA) since February 2016, Sikandar honors the legacy of former U.S. Ranger Peter Kassig. Previous roles include Commissioner for the Paterson Board of Adjustment, Coordinator at the Passaic County One Stop Career Center, and Campaign Manager for Lauren Murphy's council campaign. Sikandar holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Seton Hall University, where attendance occurred from 2012 to 2016.
