Fabiola M. de Carvalho

Fabiola M. de Carvalho is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in public works and capital projects. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Capital Projects at the City of Pearland, Texas, since June 2024, Fabiola previously held significant roles such as Executive Director and Director of Engineering and Construction Management at the City of Bastrop, Texas, from March 2021 to June 2024. Prior experience includes positions as Engineer II and Project Manager at the City of Sugar Land between February 2016 and March 2021, and as Project Engineer and Engineering Intern at the Town of Framingham's Department of Public Works from August 2012 to January 2016. Fabiola's career commenced as a Regional Manager and Agricultural Engineer at Limaq from 1997 to 2000, complemented by early internship roles focused on water resources and engineering. Fabiola holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Environmental Engineering from Northeastern University (2010-2013) and a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomic Engineering from Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (1992-1997).
