Laura Ehrhart

Laura Ehrhart has extensive experience in emergency management and community outreach. Currently serving as the Education and Outreach Program Manager at the Alabama 9-1-1 Board since July 2023, Laura also established the Special Needs Registry as the Founder of S.A.F.E.R. Special Awareness For Extra Risks in March 2020. As the owner and travel agent at Dream It Destinations since June 2014, Laura combines a passion for travel with professional expertise. Laura's career in emergency services began as an Emergency Dispatcher with the Opelika Police Department from February 2000 to September 2002, followed by a long tenure with the City of Pelham starting in September 2002. Laura continues to pursue education at Southern Union State Community College and Jefferson State Community College, enhancing professional skills and qualifications.
