Draydan Power

Draydan Power serves as the Manager of Energy & Environment for the City of Penticton since January 2023, overseeing the Electric Utility and Sustainability groups with a focus on decarbonization and diversification of community energy resources. Prior experience includes various engineering roles at FortisBC from January 2015 to January 2023, where responsibilities spanned Electric Utility Manager, Manager of EV Infrastructure & Investment, and several engineering positions, including Engineer In Training. Draydan Power began a professional career as a Help Desk Analyst at the University of Victoria from September 2011 to December 2014, after completing a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the same institution in 2015. Additionally, Draydan Power gained practical experience through co-op placements at FortisBC, focusing on station schematics and regional planning.
