Rob Trousdell

Deputy Fire Chief at CITY OF PENTICTON

Rob Trousdell's work experience includes serving as the Deputy Fire Chief at the City of Penticton since April 2019. Prior to that, they were the President of Trousdell Fire Consulting Ltd. starting in August 2018. Rob also held a role as Command Staff at the Office of the Fire Commissioner Province of British Columbia starting in February 2018. Before these positions, they were the Assistant Fire Chief Training and Development at the City of Port Coquitlam from January 1991 to January 2018.

Rob Trousdell has obtained several certifications and diplomas throughout their education history. In 2011, they earned a Certificate in Local Government Administration from Capilano University. In the same year, they also completed a Diploma in Fire Service Leadership from the Justice Institute of British Columbia. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Local Government Service Delivery from the Province of British Columbia Board of Examiners.

In 2015, Trousdell pursued further education, completing an Associate Certificate in Leadership and Conflict Resolution from the Justice Institute of British Columbia. Rob also earned a Professional Specialization Certificate in Local Government Management as well as a Diploma in Public Sector Management from the University of Victoria.
