Adam Hovne

Adam Hovne is an experienced professional in tax enforcement and analysis, currently serving as the Director of Tax Enforcement & Analysis for the City of Philadelphia since February 2021. In this role, Adam enhances voluntary tax compliance through the Philadelphia Department of Revenue's audits, discovery, and investigations units. Previously, Adam worked with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Revenue from June 2014 to February 2021, first as a Senior Analyst and then as Manager of the Performance Division, where responsibilities included implementing performance analytics, managing data analysts, and leading key projects to improve tax enforcement effectiveness. Early professional experiences include consulting for the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, serving as a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer in Armenia, and coordinating a food pantry for Jewish Family & Children's Services. Adam holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy & Management with a focus on Economic Development from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
