Devika Menon has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Devika started their career as an Animation Designer at STUDIO EEKSAURUS PRODUCTIONS PVT. LTD. in 2010 and later worked as an Animation Designer at Viacom 18 Media Private Limited in 2011. From 2012 to 2016, they served as a Visual and Animation Designer, first at an unspecified company and then at Trip Creative Services.
In 2016, Devika joined the Social Innovation Lab at Johns Hopkins University as a Social Design Fellow, where they worked closely with social entrepreneurs to apply human-centered design research methods and service design principles. The following year, they worked at MICA Center for Social Design as a Designer and Strategist, collaborating on a CDC-funded project to increase access to STI testing for Baltimore youth.
Since 2017, Devika has been with the City of Philadelphia, progressing from a Service Designer role to becoming a Lead Service Designer, and eventually a Service Design Strategist. In their current position as a Service Design & Delivery Lead, their specific responsibilities are not provided.
Devika Menon earned a Master of Arts (MA) in Social Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art between 2016 and 2017. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Animation Film Design from the MIT Institute of Design, which was completed from 2007 to 2012.
