Pamela Gwaltney

Pamela Gwaltney serves as the Deputy Director of the Compliance Division at the City of Philadelphia-Commission on Human Relations since February 2015, where responsibilities include directing investigations into discrimination complaints in accordance with local and federal law. Prior to this role, Pamela worked as the Assistant Chief Counsel for the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission from August 2013 to January 2015, providing legal advice on civil rights and education matters. Before that, Pamela practiced as a Trial Attorney at the Defender Association of Philadelphia from August 2008 to August 2013, representing clients in various criminal court proceedings. Pamela holds a Juris Doctorate from Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Hampton University.
