Sean Perkins

Sean Perkins has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sean is currently serving as the Chief of Early Childhood Education at the City of Philadelphia, where they lead a team in developing and implementing a comprehensive early childhood education system. Prior to this role, Sean held various positions at the Orleans Parish School Board, including Executive Director of Citywide Education Initiatives and Executive Director of Strategic Initiatives. Sean also served as the Assistant Director of School Performance and Accountability. Sean has also worked as a Senior Advisor at the Embassy of Kuwait and as a Legal Assistant at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Sean began their career as a High School English Teacher at Fairfax County Public Schools and later worked as a Research Assistant at George Washington University.

Sean Perkins has a B.A. in English from The George Washington University and an M.A. in Education and Human Development from the same institution.
