Sheila Simmons has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Sheila'smost recent role is as the Chief of Communications and Strategies for the City of Philadelphia since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant & Freelance Writer from July 2022 to January 2023. From December 2018 to July 2022, they served as the Chief of Staff for Pa. State Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta. Before that, they were the Deputy Managing Editor at The Philadelphia Tribune from August 2016 to July 2017.
