Vanessa Lyman

Vanessa Lyman is an experienced professional in emergency management and engineering, currently serving as the Emergency Management Liaison Officer Group Lead for the City of Philadelphia since December 2019. Prior roles include Emergency Management Liaison Officer and Regional Integration Center Coordinator. Vanessa's background features key positions such as Jr. Engineer at Olympic Tool & Machine, where responsibilities included compiling documentation and identifying hazardous materials, as well as working in disaster response roles with the American Red Cross. Vanessa holds a Master's Degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from Millersville University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design from Philadelphia University, along with further studies at the Naval Postgraduate School.
