Xavier Beaufort currently serves as Deputy Commissioner for the City of Philadelphia since September 2019, bringing extensive experience from the Philadelphia Prison System, where Xavier has worked since February 1995. In addition to his role as Deputy Commissioner, Xavier holds the title of Captain overseeing Intake Management and serves as a Correctional Emergency Response Team Instructor. Previous positions include Deputy Warden and Captain, where responsibilities involved managing the processing and housing of newly committed inmates and instructing on tactical emergency response. Xavier holds a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Peirce College, complemented by a secondary education from Germantown High School.
