Chad R. Makovsky

Chad R. Makovsky, A.A.E, currently serves as the Aviation Director for the City of Phoenix, a position held since March 2021, where Chad R. oversees the strategic direction of Phoenix's airports, including Sky Harbor International Airport. Prior to this role, Chad Makovsky was the Executive Vice President of Operations at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport from March 2017 to March 2021, managing departments such as Public Safety and Environmental Affairs. Chad Makovsky has extensive experience in aviation operations, having held various positions at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport from 2002 to 2017, and at TBI Airport Management and JFKIAT earlier in their career. Educationally, Chad Makovsky holds an MBA in Organizational Leadership from Arizona State University and a BS in Aviation Management/Operations from St. Cloud State University.
