Michael Smith

Michael Smith has been serving as a Largo City Commissioner since November 2011, participating in a Commission-Manager government structure that establishes legislative policies. Additionally, Michael has held the position of Vice Mayor for the City of Pinellas Park since November 2006. Experience in transportation planning includes serving as Vice Chairman and a member of the Board of Directors for Forward Pinellas from January 2015 to August 2023, focusing on improving county transportation across various modes. Earlier career roles include Library Assistant I in both the City of Seminole and Forward Pinellas. Michael's educational background includes attendance at Osceola High, Largo Citizens Academy, and Saint Petersburg College.
