Melissa Culbertson

Melissa Culbertson, CFEA, currently serves as the Special Events Coordinator for the City of Pittsburgh, where responsibilities include planning and executing diverse events, managing communications, and driving community engagement. Additional roles include Retail Associate at the Pittsburgh Pirates Team Store, focusing on enhancing the customer shopping experience, and a previous tenure as Regional Director for CollClubSports, managing team relations and organizing regional tournaments. With experience in recreation management at Navy Region Mid-Atlantic MWR and roles in retail and customer service in various organizations, Melissa has developed a strong skill set in event planning, customer experience, and team management. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Sport Management from Old Dominion University and ongoing studies in Hospitality and Tourism Management at Florida Atlantic University.
