Jeff Johnston

Jeff Johnston is an experienced city management professional currently serving as the Assistant City Manager and Community Development Manager for the City of Plainview since May 2018. Prior to this role, Jeff Johnston held the position of City Manager in Floydada from 2013 to May 2018 and served as City Manager in Petersburg from August 2011 to August 2013. Additionally, Jeff Johnston worked as a Structural Inspector in Lubbock from September 2008 to August 2011, where responsibilities included inspecting construction projects for code compliance. Jeff Johnston holds a Master in Public Administration with a focus on City Management from Texas Tech University.
