John Scanlon

John Scanlon is a finance professional with extensive experience in municipal finance and financial analysis. Currently serving as Treasurer and Finance Director for the City of Plymouth, Michigan since October 2017, John has previously held the position of Assistant Finance Director for the City of Rochester from December 2016 to October 2017. Prior to that, John worked as a Senior Financial Analyst and Financial Analyst at Blue Chip Marketing Worldwide from September 2012 to November 2016 and as a Staff Auditor at Campbell, Kusterer & Co., P.C. from June 2010 to September 2012. John is in the process of obtaining a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Integrative Management from Michigan State University's Eli Broad College of Business, having earned a Bachelor of Professional Accountancy in Accounting from Saginaw Valley State University earlier.
