Lisa Mitchell is an experienced electrical professional currently serving as a Training Instructor at the Electrical Training Center since September 2023. Previously, Lisa has worked as an Electrical Inspector for the City of Port Arthur since March 2016 and held the position of Vice President at IBEW Local 479 from June 2019 to July 2022. Lisa's hands-on experience includes work as a Journeyman Electrician at Dacon Services from January 2015 to April 2016, specializing in high voltage wiring for substations, and as a state licensed journeyman electrician at Newtron, Inc. from April 2014 to January 2015. Lisa's educational background includes completing a national joint apprenticeship training program from 1988 to 1994, earning the designation of journeyman electrician.
