Katelynn Best

Katelynn Best is an experienced museum professional currently serving as the Museum Registrar for the City of Port Colborne since September 2022, where responsibilities include registration, documentation, preservation of collections, and exhibition assistance. Prior roles include Digitization Coordinator at the Niagara Historical Society & Museum, managing collections and creating online exhibitions, as well as various positions with Élections Canada, including Site Supervisor and Assistant Site Supervisor. Katelynn also has a strong background in archives and collections management, having worked at the Welland Museum in roles such as Archive/Collections Coordinator and Acting Archivist. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology from Wilfrid Laurier University and certificates in Museum and Gallery Studies from Georgian College and Office Administration from Niagara College.
