Melissa Wilson

Community Services Coordinator at CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM

Melissa Wilson serves as the Community Services Coordinator for the City of Port Coquitlam since October 2019, managing diverse initiatives including Access and Inclusion, Volunteer Services, and Community Grant Funding. Previously, Melissa held multiple leadership roles at Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver from 2008 to 2019, culminating as the Program Director where responsibilities included strategic development and operational oversight. Previous experience includes counseling roles at Richmond Youth Service Agency and Richmond School District No. 38, as well as work in Applied Behavioral Analysis and legal information counseling. Education includes a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology and Criminology from Simon Fraser University and various certifications focusing on reconciliation education and organizational behavior.
