Maiya Chan

Maiya Chan is a versatile professional with a passion for photography and community service. Since 2016, Maiya Chan has operated Maiya Chan Photography, specializing in adventurous wedding, family, and travel photography, focusing on authentic storytelling. Concurrently, Maiya Chan has held various roles at the City of Port Coquitlam and the City of Port Moody as a lifeguard, swim instructor, and aquatic supervisor, ensuring the safety of patrons and effective teamwork. In addition to these roles, Maiya Chan has gained valuable experience in communications and development through positions with Live Different, SOS Children's Village BC, and the Take a Hike Foundation, presenting on important topics to youth across Canada. Maiya Chan holds a Bachelor of Environment in Resource and Environmental Management and Indigenous Studies from Simon Fraser University.
