Iris Nieves

Iris Nieves is an experienced human resources professional with a strong background in managing HR functions across various organizations. Currently serving as a Human Resources Specialist for the City of Port Richey since July 2021, responsibilities include maintaining job descriptions and managing job postings and candidate shortlisting. Previously, as a Human Resources Manager at Springbrook Hospital, Iris developed and administered HR programs and policies while also overseeing job descriptions and postings. Past roles include Office Manager and HR support at NOVO Health Services, Eligibility Specialist for the Orlando Housing Authority, and Human Resources Generalist at Hillsborough County. Iris began a career in accounts receivable at Fedway Associates, managing a team and serving as a liaison between HR and employees. Iris holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Urban Studies from St. Peter's College and an Associate's degree in Biblical Studies from Colegio Pentecostal Mizpa.
