Jenny Tomes Apr

Jenny Tomes, APR, is an accomplished communication professional with extensive experience in media relations, video production, and community outreach. Currently serving as the Assistant Manager for Community Outreach at the City of Port St. Lucie since December 2008, Jenny has overseen special events and educational initiatives, developed website and social media content, and produced multimedia projects. Previous roles include positions as the Utility Marketing and Digital Video Coordinator and Public Information Officer, where Jenny managed media relations and produced various broadcasts. Jenny's career began as a News Photographer and Video Production Teacher, showcasing expertise in writing, editing, and visual storytelling. Notable achievements include receiving the 2014 Blue Pencil & Gold Screen Award and a Suncoast Emmy Award in 2003. Jenny holds a diploma in Communications/Multi-media from Eastern Technical High School and attended the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland.
