Abigail Cermak

Abigail Cermak is a seasoned urban planner with extensive experience in water resources and environmental planning. Currently serving as the Senior City Planner for the City of Portland since February 2011, Abigail has held various roles, including Environmental Specialist and Program Assistant, where responsibilities involved managing environmental site assessment grant funds for the Bureau of Environmental Services. Previous experience includes working as a Hanford Coordinator for Columbia Riverkeeper and serving as a Board Member for Cafe au Play, where efforts contributed to transforming a former gas station into a community-focused nonprofit coffee house. Abigail's educational background includes a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Art History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
