Mehrnoush Jamshidi currently serves as the Finance Manager for the City of Poway since October 2021 and has been a member of the Board of Directors for Think Dignity since January 2021. Prior experience includes a role as Doctoral Research Assistant at the University of San Diego School of Leadership and Education Sciences from January 2020 to July 2022, and progressive positions in finance at San Diego State University from 2015 to October 2019, including Director of Finance for University Relations & Development and Interim Manager of Budget & Finance. Additionally, Mehrnoush founded M.J. Financial Solutions in 2012 and worked as a Business Analyst at Sempra Energy from 2012 to 2014. Educational achievements include a PhD in Leadership Studies from the University of San Diego (2019-2023), a Master of Accountancy from National University (2011-2012), and a B.S. in Child and Family Development from San Diego State University (2004-2005).
