Mike Mains possesses extensive experience in education and recreation, currently serving as a Recreation Leader for the City of Poway since May 2011, where responsibilities include supervising staff and managing programming. Mains has held multiple educational roles at St. Martin of Tours Academy since June 2009, functioning as a Physical Education, Social Studies, and Science teacher, as well as Athletic Director and Student Council Moderator. Additional experience includes work as a Recreation Leader for the City of Santee from 2005 to 2010. Mains holds a Master of Education from National University and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from San Diego State University. Certified in CPR/First Aid/AED and Emergency Medical Services Authority, Mains emphasizes safety and best practices in all positions.
