Emily Crowell

Emily Crowell has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and positions. Emily started their career as an intern at the United States Senate in 2011 and then worked as a Mary J. Brennan Fellow at the Governor's Commission on Disabilities. In 2012, they became a Field Representative at the United States Senate. Emily joined The Reed Committee as a Field and Outreach Coordinator in 2014 and then moved on to the City of Providence, where they held several roles including Deputy Director of Communications, Press Secretary, Acting Chief of Staff, and Chief of Communications and Senior Adviser to the Mayor. In 2020, they worked as the Director of Communications at the Rhode Island Department of Education before becoming the Chief of Staff. Emily also worked at Advocacy Solutions LLC as the Managing Director and served as the Executive Director and Senior Adviser at Smiley for Mayor before becoming the Chief of Staff at the City of Providence.
