Peggy Watson has extensive experience in municipal finance, currently serving as the Assistant Finance Director for the City of Puyallup since November 2004, and previously held the position of Financial Analyst within the same organization. Prior to this role, Peggy Watson worked at the City of Des Moines from February 1992 to November 2004, where responsibilities included serving as the Finance Operations Manager. This diverse background reflects a solid expertise in financial management and operations within government entities.

The City of Puyallup is situated at the foot of scenic Mount Rainier in the beautiful Puget Sound region 10 miles east of Tacoma and approximately 35 miles south of Seattle.
