Prior to this role, William managed facilities, maintenance, and operations at Washington State University from 2013 to 2022. Experience also includes serving as District Port Manager at American Suzuki Motor Corp. from 1999 to 2012 and working as Superintendent at Tacoma Export Marketing Co. from 1989 to 1999. William holds a Bachelor's degree from Iowa State University.

The City of Puyallup is situated at the foot of scenic Mount Rainier in the beautiful Puget Sound region 10 miles east of Tacoma and approximately 35 miles south of Seattle.
