Dave Murphy

Dave Murphy has extensive experience in public administration and natural resource management. Currently serving as the Commissioner of Natural Resources for the City of Quincy since March 2019, Dave previously held positions as Town Manager and Executive Secretary for the Town of Randolph from March 2008 to January 2019. Earlier in their career, Dave worked as the Director of Operations for the City of Quincy from 1995 to January 2008, where responsibilities included overseeing daily operations for a city with a $250 million annual budget and 1,700 employees, while focusing on special projects and public relations. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Suffolk University, attained between 1991 and 1996.
