Matthew Thompson

Matthew Thompson is a civil engineer with extensive experience in municipal engineering. Currently serving as a Junior Civil Engineer at the City of Quincy since July 2019, Matthew previously held the position of Engineer Grade 2. Prior to this role, Matthew gained valuable experience as a Cooperative Engineering Student at the City of Quincy Department of Public Works from January 2018 to May 2019, where responsibilities included evaluating project proposals, assisting in site supervision for sewer replacement projects, and conducting road trench and site checks. Matthew holds educational credentials from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where studies were completed from 2017 to 2019, and UMass Boston from 2016 to 2017.
