Jorge Gao

Jorge Gao is an experienced professional with a diverse background in creative direction, graphic design, and communication strategy. Currently serving as the Creative Director for the City of Raleigh Municipal Government since February 2011, Jorge has been instrumental in developing city brand strategy and identity through market research initiatives. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Communication Specialist, Senior UX Designer for Webstreak - Sokal Media Group, and Creative Artist at The News & Observer, as well as a Partner/Director at Gao Advertisement Agency, where comprehensive marketing services were provided to numerous clients. Educational credentials include certifications in Web Development from Durham Technical Community College and a technical degree in Computer Engineering Technology.
