Kate Jansen

Kate Jansen, CMP, currently serves as the Director of Marketing & Sponsorships at the Raleigh Convention Center and Red Hat Amphitheater, a position held since July 2025. Prior to this role, Kate accumulated extensive experience at the Raleigh Convention Center, progressing from Special Event Coordinator to Senior National Sales Manager between May 2010 and July 2025. Kate's earlier career includes a position as Catering Sales Manager with Sodexo Live! from June 2011 to July 2017 and as the University Housing - Residence Hall Administrative Coordinator at North Carolina State University from August 2009 to May 2010. Kate holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a Minor in Parks Recreation and Tourism from North Carolina State University.
