Sam Brewer

Sam Brewer, PE, is a Senior Engineer and Project Manager at the City of Raleigh Municipal Government since January 2021, previously serving as Project Manager at Citadel Contractors. With extensive experience in construction project management and supervision, Sam held positions as Superintendent at Briegan Concrete, LLC, and Advance Concrete, as well as Construction Project Manager and Superintendent at IQ Contracting. Sam's early career included a role as Construction Superintendent at Mountain Creek Contractors and a Research Assistant position at Constructed Facilities Lab - NCSU, focusing on construction materials and structures. Additionally, Sam instructed and examined candidates for ACI and NCDOT Concrete Technician certifications while also working as a Spanish Teacher and SPED Teacher Assistant in Wake County Public Schools. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering and Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from North Carolina State University.
