Paul Seo

Paul Seo currently serves as a City Councilmember for the City of Rancho Palos Verdes since December 2022 and as a Deputy Attorney General specializing in Special Prosecutions with the California Department of Justice since October 2021. Previous roles include Deputy District Attorney at the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, member of the Central Committee for the Los Angeles County Democratic Party, and representative on the Palms Neighborhood Council. Paul Seo also has experience as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Los Angeles County Criminal Courts and as a law clerk for the District Attorney's Office. A veteran of the US Army, Paul Seo held the position of Assistant Officer in Charge in the Combat Arms Platoon. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Loyola Law School, a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and studies at Harvard Kennedy School.
