Joe Parco

Joe Parco currently serves as the Director of Public Works and City Engineer for the City of Rancho Santa Margarita since April 2024. Previously, Joe held the position of City Engineer for the City of San Juan Capistrano from October 2017 to April 2024 and served as Assistant City Engineer for the City of Rancho Santa Margarita from November 2015 to October 2017. Additional experience includes roles as City Engineer for the City of Manhattan Beach, Principal Engineer for the City of Rancho Santa Margarita, Senior Civil Engineer for the City of Santa Ana, Associate Engineer for the City of Carlsbad, and Civil Engineer/Resident Construction Engineer for the County of Orange. Joe Parco earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from UC Irvine, completing studies between 1985 and 1989.
