Darren Kuz

Darren Kuz serves as the Chief of Staff (Interim) for the Office of Mayor & Council in the City of Red Deer, providing executive advice and support to the Mayor while fostering relationships with key stakeholders. With a history of roles including Government Relations Strategist & Deputy Chief of Staff, Intergovernmental Strategist (Interim), and Information Management Supervisor, Darren has demonstrated expertise in advocacy, intergovernmental relations, and information governance. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Director of Tourism Red Deer and as a Parliamentary Assistant for a Member of Parliament. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Victoria and various certifications in immigration, project management, and Indigenous studies.
