Evan Stewart

Evan Stewart currently serves as the Assistant Deputy Chief of Emergency Services for the City of Red Deer since July 2023 and holds a member position at Canada Task Force 2 since February 2020, with roles including ECC Support during the 2023 wildfire season and Division Supervisor for the Southern Lakes Floods in Yukon Territory. Previous experience includes Deputy Fire Chief - Operations and Incident Commander - Unified Command at Clearwater County until July 2023, where collaboration with Alberta Wildfire and Alberta Parks was key. Evan Stewart also worked as a Structure Protection Specialist for the Government of Alberta and BC Wildfire Services, directing structure protection efforts during various significant wildfire incidents since 2017. Education at the Justice Institute of British Columbia commenced in January 2018 and continues to the present.
