Greg Robinett has a comprehensive background in finance and accounting, with experience working for both the City of Redding and the Internal Revenue Service. Greg started their career in 2009 as a Revenue Agent with the Internal Revenue Service, where they worked until November 2014. In December 2014, they joined the City of Redding as an Accountant and later transitioned to the role of Senior Accountant from October 2016 to March 2019. Greg then served as a Finance Officer from March 2019 to January 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Finance and City Treasurer at the City of Redding, starting in February 2023.

Greg Robinett pursued their education with dedication, focusing on the field of business and management. In 2004, they began their academic journey at Shasta College, where they concentrated on accounting and business management. After completing their studies there in 2007, they decided to further expand their knowledge and enrolled at California State University-Sacramento. Over the course of two years, from 2007 to 2009, Greg earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in accounting. Displaying a continuous passion for learning and professional growth, they then enrolled at Oregon State University in 2019 to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in organizational leadership. Greg successfully completed their MBA program in 2021, further strengthening their expertise in the field.
