Erica Chua

Erica Chua is an experienced Parks & Recreation Manager currently serving in the City of Redmond, WA since March 2024. Previously, Erica worked as a Recreation Supervisor for the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board from 2014 to March 2024, focusing on activating downtown parks and managing diverse park programs. As Community Outreach Event Coordinator in Minneapolis, Erica coordinated major city-wide events and secured significant sponsorship funding, achieving a 67% increase. With earlier roles as Recreation Supervisor in the City of Plymouth and Recreation Coordinator in the City of Shoreview, Erica demonstrated strong program development and community partnership skills. Erica holds a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and a Bachelor's degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Facilities Management from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
