Ernest Fix has extensive experience in municipal operations and governance, currently serving as Operations Manager for the City of Redmond since May 2019. Previously, Ernest held the position of City Council Member in the City of Carnation from March 2018 to December 2019, having been appointed to the role. Ernest also worked as the Maintenance and Operations Supervisor for Stormwater at the City of Redmond, WA, from May 2017 to May 2019. Ernest earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Washington State University between 2004 and 2008.
