Melissa Stuart

Melissa Stuart, MNPL, currently serves as a Councilmember for the City of Redmond, WA, where responsibilities include presiding over the Planning and Public Works Committee of the Whole, as well as involvement in multiple regional councils and associations. Prior experience includes roles such as Director of Individual Giving and Philanthropy Officer at Boys & Girls Clubs of King County, and Donor Relations Officer at Youth Eastside Services, where significant fundraising accomplishments were achieved. Melissa's early career featured positions such as Interim Development Manager at Wellspring Family Services and Development Director at Washington Wildlife and Recreation Coalition, in addition to various roles in community development with organizations like Treehouse and the U.S. Peace Corps. Educational credentials consist of a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Leadership from Seattle University and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Communication and Political Science from Washington State University.
