Osman Salahuddin

Osman Salahuddin serves as City Councilmember for the City of Redmond, Washington, representing over 76,000 residents since January 2024. In conjunction, Osman holds the position of Communications and Community Engagement Manager for King County Councilmember Sarah Perry, focusing on behavioral health, housing, and race equity issues. Prior experience includes managerial and research roles at GLG and the University of Washington, where Osman also served as Student Body President, overseeing significant budgets and representing a large student population. Osman holds a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology from the University of Washington, along with a minor in English, and has contributed to various research projects in medical and cancer studies.
