Greg Kapovich

Greg Kapovich is an accomplished professional in urban planning and economic development, currently serving as the Director of Waterfront & Economic Development for the City of Redondo Beach since March 2022. Prior experience includes roles as the Director of Community and Economic Development for the City of Lomita and as a Senior Planner for the City of Walnut Creek. Greg's career in planning began at the City of Las Vegas, where positions included Associate Planner and Assistant Planner. Educational credentials consist of a degree from Regis University (2012-2014) and California State Polytechnic University-Pomona (1999-2004), along with foundational studies at Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory in San Francisco (1996-1999).
