David Hutchinson, P.E., PTOE, RSP2I, currently serves as an Associate Civil Engineer in the Public Works Traffic Engineering Division for the City of Reno since December 2018. Prior to this role, David accumulated extensive experience at the Nevada Department of Transportation over 17 years, where positions included Senior Traffic Designer, Staff 2 Associate Engineer, Staff 1 Associate Engineer, and Engineering Technician 3, focusing on traffic design, control, signals, lighting, and safety. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a specialization in Operations Research and a Master of Science in Transportation and Highway Engineering, both from the University of Nevada, Reno.
