Community leaders nurture entrepreneurial sprit and foster successful partnerships. Bold economic development plans have diversified the City's employment base and strategically positioned Renton for the future. Renton is the fourth largest city in King County and the eight largest in Washington. On the south shore of Lake Washington, Renton's central location is at the heart of the vibrant Puget Sound region. Served by Interstate 405 and four state highways, access to Renton from other Greater Seattle communities is quick and easy. The City is well-served by mass transit, making commuting to and from work simple and convenient for employees. This allows employers to draw from a large talent pool and provides direct transportation connections for goods and services. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
